The Administrative Staff Awards Ceremony, organized within the scope of the 8th anniversary celebrations of Isparta University of Applied Sciences (IUAS), was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere at the Rose Hall of the Isparta Municipality Cultural Center.
The program was attended by IUAS Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ramazan Özçelik and Prof. Dr. Ayhan Gösterit, Secretary General Sefer Kutlu, deans, directors of higher education institutions and vocational schools, academic and administrative staff members, as well as the families of the administrative staff.
The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, followed by the opening speech delivered by IUAS Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal. In his speech, Rector Çatal emphasized the university’s development process and the devoted contributions of the administrative staff.
Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal stated that:
“Welcome to the Administrative Staff Awards Ceremony organized within the scope of the 8th Anniversary Celebration of our University. We are honored by your presence.
Today, within the framework of our Administrative Staff Awards Directive, we will present Institutional Service Contribution Certificates to our colleagues who have completed 10, 20, and 30 years of service at our university as recognition for their dedication and hard work.
As the IUAS family, we are not merely holding an awards ceremony today but also sharing a collective story of labor, patience, loyalty, institutional belonging, and faith in the future.
I sincerely congratulate all of our colleagues who will receive certificates today. However, I would truly like to emphasize that every single member of our staff here is a highly valuable part of this family. Since success is never individual; it is always the result of collective effort. A university can only grow stronger and develop together.
At the point we have reached today, we clearly see that behind every step we have taken lies great effort, a strong vision, and sincere dedication.
Dear IUAS family,
The fact that you carry out your duties not merely as a job, but as a matter of responsibility and conscience, is the most valuable aspect of our institutional culture. The patience you show to our students, the support you provide to our academics, and the sense of belonging you feel toward our university are extremely valuable to us.
The awards you receive today are not simply certificates of achievement. They are also symbols of diligence, honesty, effort, and devotion to the institution.
I firmly believe that with your support, our university will continue to move toward the future with even stronger steps. As long as we preserve our spirit of unity and solidarity, there will be no obstacle we cannot overcome.
Before concluding my speech, I would like to state that building the institutional identity and self-confidence of our university will be our greatest achievement. We will continue to walk on the path of science, to produce, to trust our youth, and to work for our country.
Today, we are also sharing the excitement of something very special. Briefly, the IUAS Stage Orchestra, composed entirely of our own colleagues and valuable university staff members, will perform for us. I would like to thank our orchestra in advance for showing us not only how productive and talented we are in professional life, but also in the aesthetic and cultural dimensions of life. I wish you all an enjoyable performance.
With these feelings and thoughts, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this meaningful organization, sincerely congratulate our award-winning staff members, and wish them and their families many years filled with health, peace, and success.”
Following the opening speeches, the IUAS Stage Orchestra, established within Isparta University of Applied Sciences, gave an unforgettable concert featuring: Solo Vocal: Assistant Prof. Dr. Merve Paçacı, Bağlama: Assistant Prof. Dr. Serdar Paçacı, Oud and Keyboard: Deputy Secretary General Dr. Naif Fıratcan Çınar, Keyboard, Guitar and Vocal: Lecturer Şükrü Kaya, Drums and Vocal: Computer Operator Mehmet Fatih Büyüktaş, Bass Guitar: Assistant Prof. Dr. Onur Mahmut Pişirir.
One of the most meaningful moments of the ceremony was the presentation of achievement and service awards to administrative staff members who had completed 10, 20, and 30 years of service at the university. Honoring staff members who had contributed to the university’s development for many years created emotional moments in the hall. The program concluded with a group commemorative photograph taken together with the award-winning staff members and their families.
While celebrating its 8th anniversary with such a meaningful ceremony, IUAS once again strengthened its awareness and spirit of being “a family.”
