Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) Executive Board Convenes Under the Hosting of IUAS

Hosted by Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal, Rector of Isparta University of Applied Sciences and Member of the ÜAK Executive Board, the June meeting of the Executive Board was chaired by Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu, President of the Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) for the current term and Rector of Kafkas University. The meeting was attended by Executive Board members as well as the chairs of councils and commissions affiliated with ÜAK.

As the supreme academic body responsible for coordinating educational and scientific research activities among universities within the framework of higher education planning, taking measures to meet universities’ academic staff needs, and preparing draft laws, regulations, and bylaws concerning higher education institutions, the Executive Board of the Interuniversity Council discussed and resolved the items on its agenda during the meeting. The meeting concluded following the discussion of wishes and recommendations.

The delegation that arrived in Isparta for the Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) Executive Board Meeting first paid a courtesy visit to the Rector’s Office located in the historic stone building that has been restored by Isparta University of Applied Sciences and recently put into service as the University’s Rectorate Building.To commemorate the occasion, a group photograph was taken, and the delegation extended their best wishes for the new Rectorate Building.
