He was born in 1978 in Antalya/Kumluca. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education in Kumluca, he graduated from Süleyman Demirel University (SDU), Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forestry Engineering in 1999. After working in a private forest management company, he started his academic life as a Research Assistant at SDU Faculty of Forestry, Forest Management Department in 2000. He became Assistant Professor in 2010, Associate Professor in 2012, and Professor in 2018.

Prof. Dr. Yılmaz ÇATAL, who is the author of more than 80 national and international articles, symposium papers, and books, works as an editor and co-editor in national and international journals. He took part as a researcher, consultant, and coordinator in 20 scientific research projects supported by different institutions. He served as the Director of the Vocational School, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, served as the head of the department, the deputy head of the department, a member of the board of directors in the departments he worked, and was in the management of the research and application centers of the university.

Since 2018, he has been a member of the Executive Board of the European Forestry Council (CEF) and the vice president of the European Forestry Academic Society (EFAS). He has been serving as a Board Member of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) since 2020.

He is married, has two children, and speaks English.

He was appointed as the Rector of Isparta University of Applied Sciences on September 15, 2022, with the approval of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, and with the Presidential Decision No. 2022/473.

He completed his MA and Ph.D. studies at Süleyman Demirel University in 2005 and 2009. Between 2012 and 2013, he did post-doctoral studies on the Design and Modeling of Integrated Energy Systems at the University of Ontario. He became Associate Professor in 2013 and Professor in 2018 at SDU Faculty of Technology, Department of Mechatronics Engineering. He is a member of the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) Energy Working Group. He has published journal articles and international conference papers on sustainable and renewable energy technologies, innovative energy storage systems, solar energy technologies, alternative energy strategies, and policies. He is also a member of the Board of the National Hydrogen Technologies Association. His research and expertise areas: Alternative Energy Technologies, Energy Storage Systems, Solar Energy Applications, Hydrogen Energy Technologies, Energy Policies and Sustainable Development, Research-innovation-commercialization and technology development methods. He is married, has two children, and speaks English.

He was born in 1974 in Burdur/Bucak. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Bucak, and his undergraduate education at Karadeniz Technical University in 1995 and was appointed as a research assistant at Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forestry Engineering in the same year. He completed his MA at Süleyman Demirel University in 1997 and his Ph.D. at Karadeniz Technical University in 2002. He became Assistant Professor in 2002, Associate Professor in 2010, and Professor in 2015 at Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Forestry, Department of Forestry Engineering, Program of Forest Management. He worked at West Virginia University/USA for 6 months within the scope of the TÜBİTAK Post-Doctoral Research Scholarship Program in 2008 and at Universidad Austral de Chile/CHILE for 1 month in 2012 with the support of TÜBİTAK. He is a member of the Chamber of Forestry Engineers (OMO) and the Foresters’ Association of Türkiye. He has been the Editor-in-chief of the Turkish Forestry Journal since September 2019. Dr. Ramazan ÖZÇELİK is also a member of the TÜBİTAK Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Research Group (TOVAG) Group Executive Board. Areas of expertise: Forest Management, Forest Yield and Biometrics, and Forest Inventory Methods. He is married, has two children, and speaks English.

He was born in 1978 Maçka/Trabzon. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Zonguldak, and his undergraduate education at Akdeniz University in 2000. He was appointed as a research assistant at Akdeniz University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Science in 2001. He completed his MA and Ph.D. at Akdeniz University in 2003 and 2009, respectively. After working as an engineer at the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry between 2009-2010 and as Assistant Professor at Düzce University between 2010-2012, he became Assistant Professor in 2012, Associate Professor in 2013, and Professor in 2018 in the Animal Breeding Department of the Faculty of Agriculture of Süleyman Demirel University. Conducting research in the field of Bee and Silkworm Breeding, Prof. Dr. Ayhan GÖSTERİT has published 130 national/international articles and papers related to his field of work so far. He worked as a coordinator, researcher, expert, and consultant in 24 different projects supported by TUBITAK, TAGEM, and Universities, and supervised a total of 6 postgraduate thesis studies. He is married and has two children and speaks English.
